Associate Cloud Engineer: the practice module

Exam body: Google. Verified for Associate Cloud Engineer Certification exam guide (the standard exam guide Google links; live from June 30, year not printed) on October 31, 2026.

What it covers

Covers: single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions written to this exam’s outline, format and timing.

Does not cover: nothing else; the real exam is multiple-choice throughout.

Question format

  • Every question has exactly 4 options.
  • One or more correct answers per question (multiple-answer stems say how many to choose, and are scored all-or-nothing unless the module says otherwise).
  • Not allowed as an option: “all of the above”, “none of the above”.
  • Stems follow the exam’s conventions, such as “You want to apply the principle of least privilege and follow Google-recommended practices.”, “What should you do?”, “Which Google Cloud product should the transactions be sent to?”.

Exam mode

Exam mode: 60 questions at the real exam’s pace, 2 minutes a question. Google prints 50 to 60 questions in 2 hours and no fixed count, so exam mode uses 60, the faster end of that range.

Topics

The official topic list, as the exam body names it. Your questions must use these names; the coverage dashboard compares your set to each topic’s official weight.
