Terms of service
Effective 2026-10-16.
These are the terms for using DoMcq (domcq.com). DoMcq is run by me, Kamran Rashid, an individual based in Lahore, Pakistan. "You" means the person using DoMcq. By creating an account or using DoMcq you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
What DoMcq is, and is not
DoMcq is a practice system for multiple-choice questions you bring yourself. You write questions with your own AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other) using a DoMcq prompt, import the resulting domcq/1 file, and DoMcq gives you tutor and exam modes, timing, scores and progress by topic.
DoMcq runs no AI. It never writes, fixes, normalises, explains or verifies a question, not on import, not during practice, not in support. If a file is invalid, DoMcq tells you exactly what is wrong and you fix it with the AI that wrote it. DoMcq sells no questions and holds no exam content: an exam module is rails only (the exam body's published topic names, the question format, the exam's timing, its published weights and a prompt). Every question in DoMcq belongs to a student.
What your AI writes is yours and is your responsibility. DoMcq does not check that a question is correct, and a wrong answer key in your file stays wrong until you change it. DoMcq is not affiliated with any exam body (see trademarks) and makes no promise about any exam result: practising here does not mean you will pass.
Your account
You need an account to import and practise. You must be at least 16 years old to have one. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: an account is for one person, and you are responsible for what is done with yours. Tell me at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
You can export everything and delete your account at any time from your account page (see the privacy policy for what deletion does).
The free plan and the passes
Free: up to 100 questions across your account, in any module, with tutor and exam modes, the dashboard and export. An import that would take you past 100 is refused whole and tells you what fits.
- Exam Pass: unlimited questions in one exam module, and custom exam profiles, for 6 months from the day you buy. One payment; it never renews.
- Any Exam Pass: the same for the Generic module and your own custom exam profiles, for 6 months. One payment; it never renews.
- All-Access: everything, as a yearly membership that renews each year until you cancel. Cancel on Gumroad at any time and you keep access until the end of the year you paid for.
Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. A pass attaches to the DoMcq account whose email you bought with, or to any account you paste its license key into; one pass, one account.
When a pass ends, lapses, is refunded or is cancelled, nothing you made is removed: every question, set, session, note and bookmark stays, and practice, the dashboard and export keep working. Only importing past the free 100 questions is refused until you have a pass again. A custom exam profile made while you had a pass keeps working; making or changing one needs a pass.
Payment and refunds
Passes are sold through Gumroad, which is the merchant of record: Gumroad takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, issues the receipt and is bound by its own terms and privacy policy. DoMcq never sees your card. These terms cover the service and what a pass gives you, not the sale itself.
Refunds: within 14 days of a purchase you can have a full refund for any reason, whether or not you used the pass. For All-Access, the 14 days run from each charge, the first and every renewal. Gumroad leaves refund policies to each seller and asks buyers to contact the seller first (Gumroad's refund policy); Gumroad may also refund a purchase itself, at its discretion, within 90 days to prevent a card dispute. To ask for a refund, email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or reply to your Gumroad receipt; I refund through Gumroad, usually within two working days, and the pass ends when the refund is made (your questions stay, as above).
Acceptable use
- Import only content you have the right to use: questions you wrote, questions your AI wrote for you, or questions whose owner allows it. Do not upload a question bank, past paper or course material you do not have the right to copy.
- One person per account. Do not share an account or sell access to one.
- Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download DoMcq, probe it for weaknesses, or load it in a way designed to disrupt it. The export on your account page is the way to take your data out.
- Do not use DoMcq to break any law, or to break an exam body's rules (for example by trying to reproduce live exam questions).
I can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where I can, I will say what was wrong and let you export first.
Your content and your data
Your questions, sets, notes, answers and profiles are yours. You keep every right in them. So that DoMcq can work, you give me a licence to store them, process them (validate, score, count, back up) and show them to you, and to nobody else. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the copies in backups, which rotate out within twelve weeks. I never use your questions to train anything, and no AI ever receives your data from DoMcq.
The domcq/1 format and its validator are open source (MIT). DoMcq's own pages, prompts and code are mine; you may use the prompts freely with your own AI, which is what they are for.
Ending things
You can stop using DoMcq at any time, and delete your account from your account page. I can end or change DoMcq itself; if I ever shut it down I will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account so you can export, and no pass will be charged again after that notice.
No warranty, and the limit of my liability
DoMcq is a small service run by one person. It is provided as it is and as available, without any warranty, express or implied, that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and with no warranty about the content of any question or about any exam result. I will try to keep it up and to keep your data safe, and the privacy policy says how.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable to you for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including a lost exam attempt, lost time, lost data you did not export, or lost profits. My total liability to you for anything arising from DoMcq is limited to the amount you paid for passes in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a liability that cannot be excluded or limited by the law that applies to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes go to the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, except that if you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you protections that cannot be taken away by agreement (for example in the European Union or the United Kingdom), you keep those protections and may bring a claim in your own courts. Before any of that, write to me at [email protected]; most things can be put right by email.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms in a way that matters, I will email the address on your account at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and the changelog below will say what changed. If you keep using DoMcq after that date, the new terms apply. Small corrections and clarifications take effect when published.
